Topic:Establishing and maintaining a common operating picture during and oil spill response operation
Abstract (not more than 150 Words):
The NORBIT Aptomar SeaCOP is a solution for establishing a common operating picture between the offshore, onshore and aerial resources and personnel. The system connects and utilizes existing sensors and information sources, converts data into decision support and enables tactical collaboration and information sharing between the involved resources. The SeaCOP has been used during hundreds of small and large oil spills worldwide, and the presentation will use data from some of these operations to show how the SeaCOP tactical oil spill management system have been used by the industry with the result of combating more oil, faster, at a lower cost.
