Mr. Abdalla El-Suleiman is a Chemical/ Environmental Engineer and is the Environmental Services Manager of Fairdeal Group for the last 30 years. He is a certified Lead Auditor in Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems. He is also certified as OPA-90 Qualified Individual (Spill Response Management) by the Massachusetts Maritime Academy (USA) and has attended many seminars and special courses related to the environmental management field. Certified IMS Auditor (Integrated Management System: ISO 9000, ISO 14000 & ISO 18000 OSHAS) as well as NEBOSH certified.
Mr. Abdalla is member of several environmental and technical organizations including Green Peace (Greece), the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA), Greek Technical Engineers Association, Jordan Engineers Association, the UAE & rsquo;s Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) and presently working in the establishment of UAE MEPA (UAE MARINE ENVIRNMENT PROTECTION ASSOCIATION) as Fairdeal representative.
He has cooperated few times with Piraeus University (Maritime Environmental Studies) and the Technical University of Athens under some European Economic Community Programs/Projects. He has delivered several presentations in Europe and Asia on the field of Marine Environment Protection. Represented his company to receive an environmental silver award from the UNEP delivered by the President of Malta. Among several presentations. Recently got qualified he and his team to respond to HNS (Hazardous Noxious Substances). In association with an accredited British expert delivering special accredited training courses according to IMO Levels I, II, III for OIL and HNS as well as providing consultancy for handlers and storage facilities and preparing contingency planning manuals.
