Topic:Dealing with oil spills from a smaller company perspective
Abstract (not more than 150 Words):
In recent times, Dubai Petroleum has been faced with oil spills from external sources entering into Dubai territorial waters. As a relatively small Operator within the Gulf Region, our focus requires well trained responders and incident command structures, coupled with an international tier three responsepartner.
This presentation will describe how Dubai Petroleum is structured to respond to the threat of an oil spill, and how we responded to recent spills from external sources, along with the lessons learnt.
