Engineer Ziyad Mohammed Al-Shiha was appointed as the CEO of the Saudi Investment Recycling Co. (SIRC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in February 2021.

Al-Shiha is also a board member and Head of the Investment, Corporate Governance and Merger Committees for the National Petrochemical Company (Petchem), a Saudi joint-stock company. He also acted as the Deputy Chair for the 2020 B20 Trade & Investment Taskforce during the KSA leadership for the event.

He was the president and CEO of the Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) from 2014 to 2018 and prior to that he was an SEC board member from 2012 to 2013. He held several positions at Saudi Aramco both inside the Kingdom and overseas. He was the VP for Strategic Planning and a Board Member of Petron, one of Saudi Aramco’s international joint ventures in the Philippines. He also headed the Public Relations Department and became the first spokesperson for Saudi Aramco and the director for facilities planning department before he was appointed as the Executive Director of Power Systems.

After graduating in Chemical Engineering from the University of Exeter, Robert joined Dresser Atlas Houston in 1980, subsequently holding progressively senior positions in operations, sales and management roles globally. In 1994 he moved to Singapore as Vice President Asia Pacific. Following the acquisition of Western Atlas by Baker Hughes in 1998 Robert moved back to Houston as Vice President Global Operations and then Vice President Sales. In 2005, he left Baker Hughes, joined Vetco Aibel and became President of Aibel Holdings. In 2009 Robert left Aibel and joined Total Safety Inc. as Senior Vice President International Operations. In 2013 he was appointed CEO of Oil Spill Response Limited.

A Senior Marine Executive with over 32 years maritime experience in operational, commercial and C-suite roles, Mr. Seth has been with offshore for over 22 years and of which 17 years has been in Middle East. He is Senior Vice President, Marine Services, ADNOC Logistics and Services responsible for Marine Terminal operations and offshore Oil Spill response in all ADNOC facilities. From 2009-2014, he was CEO of Milaha Offshore, Qatar, where he successfully diversified the business. Prior to that for 5 years, Mr. Seth was Managing Director at Smit Lamnalco with P&L responsibility for 11 countries and he successfully doubled the business in 5 years. Mr. Seth has held various other senior management positions internationally in Svitzer (part of A.P Moller Maersk) and Tidewater Inc., USA and for over 10 years in technical / operations role in deep sea shipping. He possesses an MBA from Manchester Business School, UK and BE in Marine Engineering.

Muhammad A. Saber holds a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Prior to assumption of his current position, Muhammad held various supervisory positions within Saudi Aramco. He worked for Saudi Aramco Refining, Maintenance, Planning, Corporate Engineering and Terminal organizations; at Jeddah, Ras Tanura and Tanajib, in addition to heading King AbduAllah Sports City Operations & Maintenance Division.

Muhammad is currently Saudi Aramco’s Global Oil Spill Response Director, based at Ras Tanura. He coordinates all activities of the different Company organizations relating to the prevention, preparedness and response to oil spills, including the development of Oil Spill Contingency Plans and ensuring readiness of response resources. His normal activities include: coordinating response and investigation efforts to oil spill incidents, coordinating and leading oil spill drills and exercises, pollution control equipment inspections, delivering of oil spill awareness presentations, etc. In addition, he represents the Company in all activities related oil spill response with other concerned Private and Government organizations.

With a first degree in Physics, Rob also holds a Masters Degree in Process Safety and Loss Prevention. Rob was Managing Director of an environmental technology spin off from a major nuclear corporation before moving into the waste management services sector, where he had some six years experience as the General Manager of a growing hazardous waste business.

Rob joined OSRL in 2003 and has been a key part of the rapid growth of its preparedness and response services. He was instrumental in establishing a rigorous approach to recruitment and putting in place new competence-based training programmes. He has overseen OSRL’s responses to major oil spills, such as the Tasman Spirit, Macondo and Bonga incidents.

As OSRL grew, Rob focussed on the delivery of Response services as Regional Director, EMEA until 2021, when he moved to the role of Commercial Director, taking responsibility for the management and development of our preparedness activities, and driving stakeholder engagement, communication and outreach activities.

Chief Executive Officer at Lamor. Mika has Master of Science (Economics) degree and joined Lamor in 2011. He is serving on the management team since 2018. Previous key positions include Head of Global Services and Head of Soil & Water Treatment solutions at Lamor. Before joining Lamor Mika has experience from the investment banking industry.

Juan Peña is a space-tech entrepreneur and CEO of Orbital EOS, a Spanish company developing maritime intelligence solutions based on Satellite Data & Artificial Intelligence. He holds a bachelor´s degree in Oceanography and a master´s degree in Remote Sensing & Data Analytics. His working experience includes 12 years of airborne remote sensing as Tactical Coordination Officer for the Spanish Maritime Safety & Rescue Agency (SASEMAR). Having been involved in real operations at sea, Juan believes Earth Observation has the capacity of revolutionizing the way we understand the maritime domain once we achieve the granularity of data this sector demands and transform that data into tangible information that is accessible, accurate and easy to use.

Matt is responsible for the management of all personnel and services delivered in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. Matt joined OSRL in 1999 and has held positions in Operations, Preparedness and SWIS, both in the UK and Singapore. Matt was previously the SWIS Director responsible for developing and delivering the Subsea Well Intervention Service and most recently the Supply Chain Management and Resources Director. He has an engineering background as well as an MBA from Southampton University.

Brian joined Ipieca as the Executive Director in 2011 following a 23 year career in bp. He graduated in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Imperial College, London, UK and was recruited into bp's Refining and Marketing international graduate programme in 1986.
Over the course of 23 years, his career included assignments in London, Copenhagen, Budapest, Athens and Johannesburg, and business experience in over 60 countries. During his time with bp he has had a varied career of technical, commercial, financial and leadership roles across the downstream value chain including crude and products trading, marine fuels, lubricants and alternative energy.
Brian is a Fellow of the Energy Institute.

With over 15 years of experience in sustainability and the circular economy in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. Eva has worked with multinational organisations and start-ups in energy, finance, technology, and professional services. Eva supports organisations in implementing sustainability strategies and partnerships, and network development. Eva is the Head of Sustainability and Partnerships at ORBITAL EOS, as well as a Programme Leader at the University of Cambridge Judge Business school on sustainability and green skills executive education programmes. After completing her postgraduate studies in sustainability business leadership at the university of Cambridge, Eva set up Circular Advisors, engaging passionately in sustainability and circular economy transformative strategies with innovative SMEs and start-ups in the non for profit, finance, energy and space technology sectors. She is also the Chief Editor and Co-Founder of Hyve Forum, a think tank bridging academic research to business action for a sustainable future.

Fabrice Perrono is the Head of HSE at Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE) with over 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Prior to joining DPE in 2018, he worked as senior Quality & HSE professional within key organization such as ADNOC, Dolphin Energy and Total Energy with positions held in various countries around the world.

Fabrice holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Reading in United Kingdom and a Master’s Degree in Total Quality Management from the University of Marne La Vallee in France.

Along his career, he worked as Senior QHSE Manager for major development project in the oil and Gas industry, on and offshore, for new production sites as well as major revamping of existing ones where he developed and implemented Quality & HSE programs for large organizations.

DPE operates all the offshore oil production asset located in Dubai waters as well as the onshore gas delivery and network system on behalf of Dubai Supply Authority.

Fabrice is the Company Representative on the Boards of Directors for the Regional Clean Sea Organization (RECSO).

Talib holds a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Sciences and Petroleum Geology as well as a Diploma in Leadership and Coaching. He has over 15 years of industry exposure and Management of Multiple Oil Spill Incidents within the UAE. He has managed and executed Multiple National Large Scale Exercises and participated in various Regional Large Scale Exercises. Talib has represented ADNOC as Chairman and Board Member of Regional Clean Seas Organization RECSO Gulf Region (2013-2017) and is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of oil spills and emergency response. He has also played a leading role in the development of the National Oil Spill Response Contingency Plans with NCEMA and Abu Dhabi Crisis Team Office as ADNOC’s representative.

With 39 years of experience starting as a ships engineer before a decade in R&D at Warren Spring Laboratory where deliberate spills at sea or on beaches were considered a vital part of the learning and validation process. He moved on into response service working at Briggs, Seacore, NRC and OSRL and on incident management at Aramco and Shell. He also served as a Director, Head of Claims Department and Technical Advisor at the International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds dealing with the claims arising from the Prestige, Erica, Hebei Spirit and other large incidents. Throughout his career he attended numerous spills all around the globe and in a variety of roles operations, planning, logistics, incident management and compensation. In 2015 he established his own company working with a wide range of clients and other industry service providers including at the 2020 Wakashio incident as part of the supporting UN team.

Rob Cox is currently a freelance Environmental consultant; for over twenty years he was Technical Director of Ipieca in London, managing, inter alia, the Ipieca Oil Spill Group. During his tenure he was instrumental in the formation and management of the Ipieca-IOGP Joint Industry Project following the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill incident. Prior to Ipieca, Rob had over twenty-five years of international petroleum industry experience including fifteen years field experience in environmental aspects of refining, retail marketing and shipping/oil spill management as an expatriate with Caltex / BAPCO in Africa, the Middle East and the United States.
Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Dundee in Scotland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Practice from Farnborough College of Technology in England.

Capt. Dr. A. Munem M. Al-Janahi is the Director of the Marine Emergency Mutual Aid Centre (MEMAC), which is the right arm of the Regional Organization for the Protection of Marine Environment (ROPME). He is PhD in Maritime Affairs, a Master Mariner and Specialist in Maritime Studies and Marine Environment. He is a Member of several International Institutes and has participated in several IMO Working Groups. He has published several publications in the field of Marine Protection and Surveillance under the name of MEMAC, including

Stéphane Grenon, Managing Director at TRIOX Environmental Emergencies, has over 26 years of experience in environmental emergencies, from contingency planning and training to response. In the past, he worked as a Technical Adviser for ITOPF and has been a response manager for the Canadian Ministry of the Environment. Stéphane has responded to various spills from ships, trains and industrial facilities in approximately 20 countries, where he developed extensive expertise in land and marine oil and hazardous materials spill response. He also delivered oil spill response training in more than 46 countries worldwide.

Ahmed Albabtain started his career with Vela International Marine Ltd. back in 1991 as the first Saudi marine engineer to work on large ocean going tankers. Leaving Vela at 2011 after raising through the ranks to Marine Superintendent to start a career in the private sector managing o shore vessels and marine support services. Ahmed has been heavily involved in maritime legislation development nationally and regionally as well as internationally attending many IMO meetings. Ahmed is registered in IMO's E Roster of experts in five sectors including Marine Policy, Port Operations, Environmental Impact Assessment.

32 yrs. post-graduate oil & gas industry experience in QHSES, Operations and Engineering management with major E&P companies & engineering consultants, for on & offshore facilities, across Oil & Gas Operations (offshore & onshore), and Brown & Green field projects. Current position is Operational Safety & Environment Manager for Dubai Petroleum in the UAE.

Andy Nicoll has over 30 years’ experience in oil spill preparedness and response in Government and Industry. He trained at the College of Maritime Studies, Warsash where he qualified with a TEC Diploma in Nautical Science and a DOT Class 3 Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer). In OSRL he has performed several roles including Responder, Principal Trainer / Consultant, Advocacy Manager, and Incident Manager. He has responded to spills all over the world including as Technical Advisor to the SCAT Program Manager during the Macondo incident (Gulf of Mexico, 2010). He was seconded to Ipieca in 2018 to manage the Oil Spill Group on behalf of industry. Now returned to OSRL, he provides specialized, industry leading insights and expertise, to support staff and to raise the profile of OSRL as a trusted source of technical expertise and advice internally and externally, across a range of stakeholders.

Andrew Menton, RPS Ocean Science’s Sales and Business Development Manager, is an experienced Senior Software Development Project Manager applying expertise to projects, business development, sales, marketing, and client management. Focused on providing appropriate technology solutions that deliver high value, in timely and cost-effective ways while following best practices for software development. Mohamed holds a B.Sc. in Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil spill response & crisis management & emergency response fields he currently works as Manager, Oil Spill & HNS Response (Fujairah) at ADNOC since Nov 2019.

Before joining ADNOC, Mohamed worked for Oil Spill Response Limited for almost 10 years in UK and Bahrain in different positions: Response Specialist, senior resoponse specilast, trainer and acting base manager. He also worked for Petro Environmental Service Company (PESCO), Egypt for almost 10 years.

Mohamed attended a large number of spills in EMEA, including the MT Stolt Valor and Grigoroussa 1 tanker spills. Mohamed has a wealth of experience in training and consultancy work.

Mohamed has also worked on different consultancy projects including contingency plans and capability reviews, Samy having previously held the positions of Base Manger at Petro Environmental Service Company (PESCO), Egypt.

Capt. Mohammad holds a Master Foreign Going CoC from Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Egypt in Marine Navigation and is currently serving as the Team Leader for Marine Oil Spill Management Team at Kuwait Oil Company with his continuous commitment to the Company and State. His direct responsibilities includes combating marine oil spills within company’s area of responsibility. Additionally, he is also the head of the ship-vetting unit, which is responsible for day-to-day quality assurance and risk management of third party & owned vessels used in KOC/KPC business.

Capt. Mohammad has a 27-year long career beginning with Kuwait Oil Tanker Company as Onboard Ship Officer in Oil & Gas tankers handling cargo operations, delivery of new ships and Maintenance of various tankers at shipyard. Later he joined Kuwait Oil Company as Marine Pilot and shared his knowledge with the company to Pilotage for visiting ships operations. Over the course, he also contributed as Harbour Master at Kuwait Oil Ports & Harbour, arranging and controlling Port Operations (pilotage, salvage, tugs and craft movement within Kuwait Oil Port Limit). Major part of his continuous career was serving as Port Captain in Kuwait Oil Company by performing duties of conducting Marine Research, monitoring Maritime regulation compliance, providing marine consultancy, conducting audits and supervising all port authority functions, marine income and budget for Port Operations.

Rob holds BSc and PhD qualifications in Marine Biology and has over 30 years’ experience ranging from academic research, teaching, consultancy and the last 20 years in the oil spill response industry. Rob has worked at OSRL since 2003 and has delivered a wide range of spill response preparedness projects for OSRL members globally including oil spill response plans, capability reviews, exercises, training, spill support and secondments.
Rob currently sits in OSRL's global Technical Department and is responsible for the development of new and novel techniques and approaches to spill response which includes the application of marine autonomous systems.

Eng. Hassan Marzooq is the Head of Pollution Control from the Source at the Supreme Council for Environment and a National Oil Spill Response Officer in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Hassan has 18 years of experience in the field of oil spill response. He was involved in response to many oil spill incidents in Bahrain and participated in many oil spills exercises inside and outside Bahrain. Hassan has a wide experience in developing, reviewing and updating oil spill contingency plans. He has an active role in the Regional Oil Spill Response Officers Committee at MEMAC. Before Joining the Supreme Council for Environment in 2006, Hassan was Oil Ships Surveyor in the National Oil and Gas Authority in Bahrain. He holds BSc. in Chemical Engineering and master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development both from University of Bahrain.

Maram Al Sabbagh is an Environmental Specialist working for Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco). Maram has been in Bapco for nine years and currently holds the position of the Environmental Coordinator for the Bapco Modernisation Program (BMP), the largest project investment in the history of Bapco, leading the Project’s Environmental and Social team. Throughout her time at Bapco, Maram led a number of environmental initiatives including the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Week Environmental Committee, Bapco’s Green School Awards and Bapco’s Mangroves Nursery and Transplanting Project. Maram is also a member of the Bapco Crisis and Emergency Response Plan Organisation. Prior to joining Bapco, Maram worked as a Corporate Sustainability Engineer at Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge), one of ADNOC’s Group Companies, in 2013, and was a Level 2 Environmental Consultant at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Abu Dhabi prior to that, in 2010. Maram holds a BSc in Natural Sciences (with a minor in Organic Chemistry and a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology) from University College London (UCL) and an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London.

Pablo Benjumeda is the Chief Operation Officer of Orbital EOS, a space-tech company providing satellite-based intelligence solutions for the Oil & Gas industry. Pablo leads the technical development team at Orbital EOS to build the most accurate oil spill monitoring system worldwide with three basic principles, experience, leadership and hard-work.

Pablo has strong and strategic operational experience in the aerospace industry. Pablo has worked for Airbus Military as a remote sensing advisor for corporate and governmental entities, and also spent over 12 years as technical lead for the onboard aerial Tactical Operations of the Spanish Maritime Safety Agency (SASEMAR). Pablo counts with over 4.500 of flight hours for monitoring surveillance of maritime pollution, Search & Rescue and vessel traffic monitoring. Pablo has led training in different international exercises and symposiums relating to maritime surveillance.

He has over 20 years of industry exposure including; management of multiple Oil Spill incidents and Oil & Gas Industry related incidents in; Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia Lebanon, and UAE with leading Oil Spill Response Organizations and Energy Sector Companies. He has managed and executed multiple international, national large-scale exercises and participated in various regional large-scale exercises. Ihab is currently heading the RECSO Technical Committee and is a Professional Member of the International Spill Control Organization. He is also a member of The International Association of Emergency Managers, Associate Member the Business Continuity Institute, and Professional from Disaster Recovery Institute. Ihab has been instrumental in the development of several National Oil Spill Response Contingency Plans for various countries.

Ltd and Independent Director in United Drilling Tools India. He is technical advisor to Oil India Limited and advisor to Greentech Foundation, India.

He started his carrier in oil & gas industry as Sub-Sea Engineer in the year1982. He has worked in all the offshore field of India including Andaman offshore. He was corporate head the ONGC Crisis Management for 6yeras and controlled 33blowouts and more than 100 complex well control problems in India and abroad. He has controlled the blowout situation in Qatar & Iran Offshore field.

He established IWCF accredited well control school first time in India in the year 1997 and this has resulted in drastic reduction in well control problems & blowouts in India.

He headed the most challenging Tripura Asset in Northeastern sector of India and increased gas production by more than two and half time in three years. During his tenure he has commissioned the biggest 726MW gas based power plant in North East India which was inaugurated by India’s Prime Minister Mr. Modi in 2014.

He is invited as speaker, session chair and technical member in international conferences abroad on various topics related to Oil & Gas industries (Onshore & Offshore). He also conducts workshop on Tender Management, Inventory Management, well control Management, disaster management & contingency planning and Project Management.

As a Response Specialist Officer with the ROPME Sea Area - responding to marine pollution incidents, developing response, emergency preparedness, training plans, monitoring and evaluating industry responses to environmental emergencies, assessing pollution incidents, maintaining specialized pollution spill clean-up equipment, delivering oil spill response training, Port State Control Officer, Marine Pilot, VTMS and QMS Lead Auditor and More than 25 years’ experience in working with the Marine Industries and Flag Administration.

Nicolas joined OSRL in 2017, currently a Senior oil spill response specialist. During his time at OSRL he responded to multiple oil spills globally from a variety of environments from Offshore, Shoreline and Inland. He is also the Angola Country Anchor, being the primary POC for member enquiries and business development.
Prior to working at OSRL, Nicolas was employed at Nelas Town Council - Portugal as a Environmental Officer. This role involved responding and managing forest wildfire incidents in the county boundaries, he also developed a GIS (Geographic Information System) platform.
He holds a BEng in Environmental Engineering, followed by a HSEQ Integrated management systems postgraduate qualification.

Ahmed Albabtain started his career with Vela International Marine Ltd. back in 1991 as the first Saudi marine engineer to work on large ocean going tankers. Leaving Vela at 2011 after raising through the ranks to Marine Superintendent to start a career in the private sector managing o shore vessels and marine support services. Ahmed has been heavily involved in maritime legislation development nationally and regionally as well as internationally attending many IMO meetings. Ahmed is registered in IMO's E Roster of experts in five sectors including Marine Policy, Port Operations, Environmental Impact Assessment.

Dave Wisse has worked in the commercial team of the global salvage company SMIT Salvage since 2013. After having spent 5 years in the SMIT Singapore office, looking after commercial matters in the Asia Pacific region, he is now working at the SMIT head office in The Netherlands again. Dave is responsible for commercial matters related to emergency response salvage operations, environmental care services and global preparedness agreements. Prior to working at SMIT Salvage, Dave worked for nearly 5 years at a marine insurance company in both legal and commercial roles. He has a legal background holding an LLM (Master) degree in Business Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands.

Capt. Irani is the founder of a leading Marine Surveying firm M/s. Constellation Marine Services LLC operating Pan GCC since 2007 (16yrs.), having completed 25000 Independent survey nomination. A Master Mariner with a valid MCA license (until 2027) from UK for unlimited vessel size with over 32 years of Maritime experience in which there have been numerous pollution claims.

Capt. Irani is also the exclusive Deputy Registrar of Antiqua and Barbuda Maritime Registry (a whitelisted flag with IMO) and was invited in 2022 to join the advisory committee of Lloyds Register Marine and Shipping (MEA), which he accepted.

He has given Expert Witness testimonials at Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal and DIFC dispute resolution centre (arbitration). Member of Baltic Expert Witness Association.

Capt. Irani has been on the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) UAE Branch Committee since 2019 and has served on its education committee since 2008.

Yusuf have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering with NEBOSH IGC Certificate. Joined OSRL in 2018 and mobilized as technical advisor for various local spills in Bahrain, international spill with most recently two rotations for Sri Lanka nurdles contamination cleanup. Yusuf had delivered several training courses for members around the region regarding IMO1/IMO2/Jetty operator, assist in workshops and lead on many exercises.

Mr. A J M Gunasekara is General Manager of Marine Environment Protection Authority of Sri Lanka with over twenty years of experience in the oil spill contingency management. A J M Gunasekara received his bachelor’s degree in Science at university of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka and he holds two Master degrees in Natural Resources Management and Maritime affairs (marine environment and ocean management) from university of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2003 and World Maritime University of Malmo, Sweden in 2011 respectively.

He has involved in marine pollution prevention activities and marine pollution related research more than 20 years’ period. He has extensively engaged in ship based marine pollution specially oil pollution and ship generated waste and marine debris. He has also involved in formulation National Oil Spill Contingency Plan and South Asian Regional Oil Spill Contingency Plan. He has involved management of several oil spills events in Sri Lanka. He has involved in the matters related to international convention on ship based pollution prevention and compensation. He has carried out several researches in the field of marine oil pollution and published several papers in same fields. He has also participated several international conference related to oil spill management.

Javier Perez has been working in the oil industry for more than 25 years. He started his career as a petroleum engineer on offshore rigs. He joined the Oil Spill Response Operations in 2003 during the Prestige disaster in Europe. Since then, he has been working In Oil Response equipment and operations around the globe. Currently, he is working as a regional manager for LAMOR in Europe.

As a Spill Response Specialist at Oil Spill Response Ltd I have spent the last twelve years planning for and responding to oil spills all over the world. These experiences have developed my knowledge and understanding of all aspects of oil spill response and have enabled me to become a trusted oil spill advisor. I am currently the Regional Response Manager for Oil Spill Response Ltd in the Middle East.
Based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, our team focuses on the response readiness of our equipment, people and services. Working with our members and industry partners we provide a robust spill response capability for the Middle East.

Gamal holds a Master Degree in Marine Engineering. He has more than 15 years in Oil and Gas and Oil Spill & HNS Response Industry as QHSSE and Training and Comptency Professional. Currently, Gamals works at ADNOC Logistics and Services Since, which he joined in 2017, as a Specialist, Training and Competency. He is also the HSE focal point for the Oil Spill & HNS Response Department.

Before joining ADNOC L&S, Gamal worked at the ADNOC Headquarters as a Senior Safety Engineer for 7 years.

Mohamed holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry. He has more than 20 year’s experience in the oil spill response & crisis management field, during which he responded to multiple oil spills from a variety of environments from Offshore, Shoreline and Inland.

Mohamed joined OSRL in 2013 and currently a Senior Response Specialist. He is also the Egypt Country Anchor, being the primary POC for member enquiries and business development.

Stéphane Grenon, Managing Director at TRIOX Environmental Emergencies, has over 26 years of experience in environmental emergencies, from contingency planning and training to response. In the past, he worked as a Technical Adviser for ITOPF and has been a response manager for the Canadian Ministry of the Environment. Stéphane has responded to various spills from ships, trains and industrial facilities in approximately 20 countries, where he developed extensive expertise in land and marine oil and hazardous materials spill response. He also delivered oil spill response training in more than 46 countries worldwide.

Ebrahim joined OSRL with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a NEBOSH qualification, and after several years of mechanical engineering experience, Since joining OSRL Ebrahim has attended numerous major oil spills in the Middle East taking on both Supervisory and Technical advisor roles.

-Jeremy is from Liverpool, UK and joined ARAMCO in 2018 after a career in the UK fire and Rescue Service.
-He began his career with Airbus in the Business Protection Department specializing in Aviation Fire and Rescue and then joined Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, Liverpool.
-He was an Operational Incident Commander covering one of Europe’s busiest and most diverse cities.
-He is a qualified and experienced as an Instructor in multiple areas of Incident Command including: Hazardous Materials Response, Aviation and Marine Rescue, Offshore Response Team Training and several other risk critical areas.
-Jeremy is a Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineers and holds a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management Studies. He was selected as a Visiting Lecturer at the Fire Service College UK, training Leadership and Incident Command to students from over 120 Countries.
-Jeremy is married to an English Teacher and has 4 children. His other great passions are Golf and Liverpool FC.

Ilias Pavlidis has 22 years of experience working in the shipping and oil spill response industry. The first 10 years as Marine Chemist, Compliance manager for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and Deputy Environmental Manager in a Shipyard. The next 12 years as HSSEQ and Project Manager for Oil Spill Response and Waste Management companies. He joined Lamor in 2017. Ilias Pavlidis has vast experience in setting up management systems via electronic platforms (HAILER) to manage:

• Assets (equipment) inventory and maintenance process

My experience encompasses the development and implementation of Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001, where I identify the significant aspects and impact to set the organizational goals and targets towards environmental protection. In addition, I have obtained several internationally recognized certificates namely; Radiation Protection Officer, NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH Process Safety Management, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, HAZOP Leader, TapRoot Analysis to gear me with the appropriate tools and knowledge to overcome the encountered day-to-day challenges.

Rob joined the KSAT sales team in 2015. Over the past 7 years he has focused mainly on Near Real-Time onshore and offshore monitoring services for the oil & gas and maritime sectors.

Has an engineering background with focus environmental and hydrological monitoring where he specialized scientific and maritime monitoring solutions for current, waves and wind.

In 2024 he was presented a challenge to improve oil spill response in high currents and moving water, made the transaction to oil spill response. By successfully leading two joint private/govern projects, operational tool for limiting oil boom leakage and a track buoy for oil drift was developed and implemented the oil spill response. By correct position and operation of booms according to oil drift and environmental conditions oil recovery efficiently increased significantly.

In 2011 he joined forces with AllMaritim AS to further develop complete oil spill response solutions and strategies for effective recovery of oil on water. Since joining AllMaritim AS, the main focus has been to improve oil spill strategies, lowering operational cost and increasing oil spill recovery efficiency.
